Root is Analgesic (Musakkin-e- alam), Anti-inflammatory (Muhallil-e- waram), Antipyretic (Daafa-e-Humma), Carminative (kasir-e- riyaah), Aphrodisiac (Muqawwi-e- bah), Astringent (Qabiz), Haemostatic (Habis-ud- Dam), Anti diarrhoeal (Dafa-e- ishaal), Cholagogue, Febrifuge, Stimulant, Aromatic, Emmenaguogue and tonic (Muqawwi). It is used in the treatment of liver disorders, dyspepsia, diarrhoea, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, throat pain coughs, hiccup, hyperacidity and bad breath.

Ma'joon Bawaasir, Ma'joon Jograj Gugal, Ma'joon Murawweh -ul-Arwah, Safoof Habis Doses

Root 1-2 gms, Decoction 3-5 ml, Safoof 0.5 gms.
