Actions/ Therapeutic Uses

Used to improve appetite and digestion. Very effective in treating stomach ache, heartburn, indigestion, intestinal gas, diarrhoea, and cholera. Also used for bronchitis, asthma, cold and cough. Other uses include treatment of headache, toothache, beriberi, epilepsy, fever, stroke, insomnia, leprosy, extreme tiredness, enlarged spleen, muscle pain, paralysis, psoriasis, intestinal worms, snakebites, tetanus, thirst, tuberculosis and tumours.
